499Block:Our ama is about to start, first of all, let us warmly welcome our guest Mark.

Mark:Hey everyone! Great to be here.

499Block:So now our ama will officially start. Before that, we ask Mark to make a short self-introduction.

Mark:Just a little bit about myself: I have been working several years in the industry helping teams build, develop effective communication and community strategies, and taking projects to market. In that time, me and my team have developed a pretty wide network of resources, along and a deep belief in the future potential of Avalanche. With my other co-founders, we formed Avalaunch as way to support this growing ecosystem. Avalaunch is dedicated to helping grow and foster the Avalanche ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on community and inclusion, and we are extremely optimistic about its future!

499Block:That was Impressive experience, really promising project of Avalaunch, great! then let’s start today’s theme!

How does Avalaunch add value to teams looking to utilize its platform?

Mark:We look at ourselves as an end to end solution. We don’t want to be a platform that is JUST about running a sale, capturing that moment in time, and then moving onto the next one. We look at each IDO as a real partnership with the team, and furthermore, a collaboration where we help each other grow.

We offer new teams our vast network and expertise, cultivated over many years working in crypto, which ends up being a valuable resource to fill gaps and make connections during a project’s infancy. A launch tends to be a really critical time for a project and we do everything in our power to make sure this goes well.

499Block:What is the relationship with Avalaunch and Ava Labs? How does this benefit the project?

Mark:We are not the official launchpad of Avalanche, but we do have some team members from Ava Labs helping us out as advisors. They also support any other project that they feel can add value and supports the ecosystem.

That being said, their advisory is a result of a long-standing relationship with the team, and a belief on their part that we can add value, and help shape the Avalanche ecosystem in a positive way.

That trust and support means a lot to us and it’s something we try to honor and value in all of our decisions.

499Block:Great, to be honest, I can’t wait to learn more about Avalaunch.

Why focus solely on Avalaunch when so many other launchpads are multi-chain?

Mark:We think multi-chain pads are great, but we are only really interested in Avalanche. Our decision to focus only on AVAX is a reflection of our belief in the technology, and the amount of work to be done.

We see all the potential in the world here, and we aren’t interested in losing focus and being distracted by other ecosystems. Ultimately, we feel it would dilute our efforts and make us less effective. Also, by specializing in one chain, we can make sure that our value and platform align well with the community that inhabits it.

499Block:Is Avalaunch only a launchpad?

Mark:No, we are also an incubator and will be adding other tools for teams to use and leverage. We view Avalaunch as an “ecosystem accelerator,” and that extends well beyond simply running IDOs.

We plan to introduce a whole host of features for teams to have smoother, more secure launches, as well more confident and informed community members.

499Block:Great explanation, very clearly! Let’s move to the next question.

Why is fairness and community such a strong focus of yours?

Mark:Because we want teams to start right, and a big part of that is making sure that community, and the people who are participating on our platform, are happy — and that generally means fairness.

We want to make sure that the token not only gets into as many hand as possible, but also have people feel like they had a good shot at getting them.

499Block:Finally we have the last official question of today’s ama.

Can you tell us about the incubator program?

Mark:Sure, I would be happy to! The incubator isn’t something we talk about a lot, but it’s actually a big part of what we do. We work with a lot of teams one on one to help them with various aspects of their projects — from tokenomics to marketing.

The incubator is more of a formalization of this process so we can make sure that we are as useful as possible. We, again, leverage our network of technology partners, advisors and mentors to make sure that everyone has the best resources possible available to them.

499Block:Look forward to more updates of the Avalaunche in the future! Thanks to Mark for sharing.
