499Block:This ama is about to begin. The guest of this time is Winne Wen, Deputy Director of Chinese Academy of Science Blockchain Laboratory of Research and Application Operations and Development Centre.

In this ama, we will talk about the SEOR project and the latest progress on web3.0, let us welcome Winnie

Winnie:Hi everyone, my name is Winnie Wen and I am the Marketing Lead for SEOR. I’m responsible for global business development as well as solution implementation.

499Block:Before ama officially starts, can you briefly introduce the SEOR project?

Winnie:In the surge of Web3.0, we can actually find that blockchain is not the beginning of Web3.0, and of course it will not be the end of Web3.0. In my opinion, blockchain technology will be the key to opening the Web3.0 era. SEOR network is an independent oracle system. We can provide a unified general data protocol for off-chain data for different blockchain systems, and provide accurate data for various Dapps such as DeFi, Game, and Tools.

499Block:It sounds great, then our ama will officially begin. The first question: Q1 SEOR as a member of the Web3.0 field, can you tell us what SEOR is?

Winnie:We have a unique architecture and technology from most oracles on the market. Our goal is to effectively reduces the technical development difficulty for Internet developers to implement the application of blockchain technology.

It also allows for the technical development of major public chain ecological technicians to cross-chain to other public chain technology research and development. Thus, we will have a low-code platform to solve the cross-chain problem of smart contracts and a demonstration of how to use the oracle in smart contracts.

499Block:This low-code platform seems to be a huge advantage of the project, and then comes the second question: Q2: In the oracle track, who are your competitors? Why do you think you can stand out?

Winnie:At present, there are still many outstanding competitors in the oracle track. Although we are competitors with each other, we are also learning from their good points, and they are all well-done projects in the oracle field such as PARA, BAND, LINK, MKR, DOS, TRB, UMA and etc.

1.The current mainstream oracle system is a single decentralized/centralized oracle that supports Layer 1/Layer 2 and has different bottlenecks in data acquisition and verification.

2.Each company uses conventional Oracle protocols with additional personalized usage methods and without excessive underlying technology innovation. In addition, many of these companies are focused on application layer innovation.

3.Of the three most commonly utilized operating modes, majority of current markets only use request/response, which cannot provide comprehensive support for DAPP.

4.Most of the current oracle systems in the market emphasize that they must be added to their ecology to be used. Thus, there is no set of available cross-chain solutions for everyone to easily use.

Compared with the mainstream oracle systems currently on the market, SEOR has the following advantages:

SEOR is a decentralized oracle system

SEOR provide intuitive and instant query processing

SEOR doesn’t have third-party failure points

Support SEOR or other payments for multiple mainnet assets and contract assets

SEOR supports multiple data types

SEOR supports three technical interaction modes

SEOR supports a variety of main chain

499Block:The format of the chart is very clear, and compared to other projects, SEOR’s advantages are also obvious. So the third question: Q3: What is the current progress of SEOR? Can you share it with us?

Winnie:Certainly. We have obtained the Grant from the Polka Web3 Foundation and have completed the milestones of the first phase. At the same time, we are also communicating with Polygon/Solona/Uniswap on the corresponding Grant, and strive to complete the communication between these three Grants in the near future, and carry out next milestone in the project.

In the future, in addition to joint publicity and promotion work with Polka Web3 Foundation/Polygon/Solona, we will also focus on the development of technology applications on each public chain, and strengthen the interaction between SEOR and each public chain.

Additionally, we have completed the first on-chain application — the low-code platform, and have completed the internal test. In the near future, we will officially launch the public beta version, and we will also hold relevant reward activities.

499Block:You just mentioned a low-code platform. This should be a relatively new concept. What is the relationship between the low-code platform and the current Web3.0 era?

Winnie:In fact, the concept of low-code platform is already a relatively mature technology in the traditional Internet world. The low-code development platform is a development platform that can quickly generate applications with a small amount of code.

The method of application development through visualizations allows developers with all levels of experience to create web pages and mobile applications through graphical user interfaces, using drag-and-drop components and model-driven logic. Our Low Code Platform(LCDP), arguably for web3.0, is an infrastructure to help developers and enterprises transition from 2.0 to web 3.0.

It is said that the low-code platform (LCDP) serves web 3.0 because we believe that the blockchain is the cornerstone of web 3.0, and LCDP is a tool for development on this cornerstone.

SEOR low-code platform (LCDP) provides visual development functions such as read/call/flash casting, which can complete the construction of App to Dapp through these functions.

In other words, SEOR is a tool from Web2.0 to Web3.0, allowing the traditional Internet world to complete the link with the blockchain world.

499Block:Many users are more concerned about the application ecology of SEOR. Can you tell us what the application ecology of SEOR is like?

Winnie:Many users are more concerned about the application ecology of SEOR. Can you tell us what the application ecology of SEOR is like?

Simply put, the mechanism we applied and the role we acted is similar to the economic model of Polkadot, but we will be more opened and allow multiple ecosystems to govern together.

Next, I will briefly explain the usage scenarios of SEOR Token and the three main roles in the SEOR network:

1. Ensuring SEOR becomes the mainnet node;

2. Guaranteeing SEOR to be the data supplier;

3. Obtaining data services through SEOR.

Data verifiers and suppliers need to use SEOR as a node and provide services, the consumed SEOR will be untaken by mainnet nodes and data suppliers in a certain ratio. At the same time, if some nodes are identified to do harm to project, their staked tokens will be confiscated for punishment.

499Block:After knowing so much, I am very looking forward to the future of SEOR, How is the development route planning of Seor?

Winnie:In the work of the marketing promotion, we will continue to launch diversified interactive activities such as beta/AMA development competitions, and in each session, we will offer rewards to encourage users/developers to participate.

SEOR, as a platform for Web 3.0, we are more inclined to iterate and optimize technology in addition to marketing. We are currently finishing the public beta version of Ethereum/ Polka, and we will continue to complete the public beta version of Polygon/Solana in the future.

Moreover, we will continue to look for more excellent public chains for cooperate and build a more complete SEOR ecology. Here is SEOR’s Roadmap for your reference.

499Block:Okay, last question, Is there any news that can share with us in the near future? XD

Winnie:We will launch SEOR’s testnet as early as August this year. We also have launched a low-code platform public beta, and users who participated in this AMA can also participate in the whitelist of the public beta.

The participating ways are as follow:

1. Join the SEOR telegram groups, follow the official Twitter, retweet the public beta activity of the SEOR low-code platform, and save the voucher by screenshot.

2. Upload the relevant vouchers to Google forms in the SEOR telegram group and give advice to SEOR. Then you can be listed in the whitelist of the SEOR low-code platform.

3. Enter SEOR NFT low-code platform product public beta test whitelist, then you can participate in the SEOR low-code platform public test and get the airdrop.
